I grew up in the bar that my parents ran for 20 years. From a young age, I always tried to bring life and energy into that space. Now, I’ve turned my lifelong passion into Experiment, a place that surpasses anything I ever imagined being part of.
Great food and coffee have always been my centre. I’m truly excited to be part of such an extraordinary place, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone who walks through our doors.

Hi, I’m Jeroen (25)
Responsible for the art, food & drinks, commerce and the website at Experiment.
Together with my team, I’m building a space where art, events, food, drinks and new ideas collide. We don’t come from years of experience or a perfectly structured plan and that’s exactly why our place is called Experiment. It’s a living, growing project where we learn by doing.
Most of my role is about connecting flavours, stories, talent and creativity together. I want to let the guests feel what I feel when I think about Experiment.
I curate the art in our space, shape the menu you get to taste and explore ways to grow our community.
Nothing is fixed. Every day we try, learn, and create something new. Thats something I'm proud of.
FRANK
Hello, I am Frank. For work I was lucky to travel a lot. Being far away from home, I searched for something to hold on and it became a habit to search for interesting coffee bars. I love the atmosphere of coffee bars, to smell the fresh brewed coffee, taste lovely sandwiches, see people getting their day started, meet with friends, colleagues or go to work.
Around 10 years ago I have seen the NFT Art piece of Speculum “Eden”, made by Smack. Inspired by Jeronimus Bosch. It intrigued me. I kept looking at the ever changing details for a long time. It made a lasting impression. 6 years later we had lovely meetings with Mun Jung and Oscar from Collecion Solo Madrid and acquired an edition of Speculum by Smack. We met with the wonderful artists of Smack Ton Meijdam, Thom Snels and Béla Zsigmond in Breda.
I believe in the importance of connection with nature, people, animals, personal development and sharing experiences, know-how and skills. We decided to create a place where we merge our love for contemporary art with coffee and food, in a socializing and a learning environment.
We want to have maximum creativity and fun. We let our feeling and intuition lead. Named it Experiment because we want to explore and try things out. To allow mistakes and to learn from it.
I wish our guests to enjoy their visit at Experiment, that they feel welcome and inspired and leave us with a good memory and to see guests back once in a while.

Hi I'm Iwona (Iwi), Nature Manager
When I first came to Experiment, I felt that the place was alive and that I could breathe here. There was something free about it, a bit wild and at the same time calm. I knew right away it was a space that fit me.
Every day I take care of the plants, the animals and all the natural elements that make our rooms feel pleasant, soft and welcoming. I create green areas and details that give Experiment its character and lightness.
I have a background in natural sciences, but most of my work comes from intuition and feeling what the space needs. I want everyone who walks in to feel comfortable, natural and simply good. To slow down for a moment, meet someone, relax, and leave with a feeling that stays with them for a while.
